Rudy Garza founded GarzaEMC in 2012.  Prior to establishing GarzaEMC, Rudy served as Assistant City Manager to the City of Austin. He spent 23 years in the public sector, with 20 of those years in Municipal government and three in State government.  With his expertise in project management, finance and consulting, Rudy and his Firm have been successfully delivering a diverse set of major projects in both the private and public sector throughout the State of Texas.  Rudy’s experience gives him a unique understanding of both public and private sector needs, as well as the complexity of engagements with public agencies.

Rudy has a deep commitment to community and civic engagement. He currently serves on multiple Boards, including the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA), Leadership Austin, and Salvation Army, as well as an active member of several other community organizations. When Rudy isn’t running the company, you can find him with his wife in a few places; binge watching movies; cheering on their grandkids with the rest of the family at soccer and baseball; or relaxing at home on the back patio.
