Settlers Crossing Lift Station
City of Round Rock, Round Rock, Texas
The GarzaEMC team provided PS&E services to the City of Round Rock for the demolition of an existing lift station and the construction of approximately 400 LF of 8-inch gravity sewer main. The demolition work included removing the wet well, pumps, electrical and SCADA controls, as well as the influent gravity main and manhole. The existing force main was abandoned in place and filled with low-strength concrete material. The new bypass gravity main was designed to outfall into a new development, which was in the design phase concurrently with this project. This necessitated close coordination with the developer to determine the alignment and tie-in elevation at the downstream end. The project encompassed Design Phase, Bid Phase, and Construction Phase services.
