The Barbara Jordan State Office building is one of six projects which combine to create the first phase of the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) Capitol Complex Master Plan. The project is a 12-story high-rise office tower totaling approximately 420,000 GSF and located on roughly 1.5 acres at the northeast corner of 16th and Congress Avenue. The building also includes five (5) levels of underground parking, a new state employee’s childcare facility, a ground level café, shared wellness center, and a shared conference center for State Agencies.
GarzaEMC provided full civil engineering services, including site design, grading and drainage, utility infrastructure, as well as permitting and construction administration services.
